Meet Dr Oseka Onuma

EXPERT IN INTIMATE GYNAECOLOGY SURGERY

Dr Onuma introduced laser vaginal surgery to Australia in 2005. Since then he has advanced his view of the modern concept of female cosmetic gynaecology and sexual function surgery at both national and international levels. Dr Oseka Onuma and his team are passionate about keeping every patient at the centre of every decision made about their care.

Dr Onuma is the author of So, You Want A Labiaplasty and The Ultimate V. These books are unique and aimed at women considering their options for labial, vaginal and pelvic floor treatments.

Delivering personalised world class care.

Prevent, Treat and Maintain.

Every patient is seen through the filter of their sexual identity, regardless of whether they are sexually active. Every patient has a right to appropriate care regardless of age. Every patient needs to be heard and understood. Dr Onuma is passionate about acting as a guide for each of his patients undertaking what is a very personal journey. He believes that how something looks and feels are intricately and intimately linked. The range of possibilities and options are there but only appropriate when he sees you, understands your concerns, and recognises your aspirations. Then, he will guide you, until your journey to recovering your self-confidence is achieved.

Dr Onuma has developed the concept of ‘Lipservice & Beyond’ where expertise in labial (the ‘lips’) and vulvo-vaginal (the ‘beyond’) surgery is the expectation of his patients. The delivery of medical care that does not pay lip service (‘insincere support) but takes significant action on behalf of every individual patient. Dr Onuma introduced the concept of ‘The Ultimate V’ to an International audience in 2023. ‘The Ultimate V’ describes a journey using every appropriate means to transport a symptomatic patient, unhappy with the condition of her genitalia, to a point where those concerns are addressed.

Practice Philosophy

The practice of medicine is a privilege, and the trust of patients is uniquely humbling. Patients are not labels, stereotypes, or conditions, they are human beings reaching out for assistance.

Many of the concerns that are brought to my attention are highly personal and intimate. I listen and observe. I question and clarify. I examine, investigate, and diagnose. And, because nothing can occur without your informed consent, we will discuss the options available to you, allowing you to make a considered decision about the way forward.

Providing my patients with exceptional care and outcomes is what motivates me and my team. Excellence in Form and Function.
