Pivotal Physiotherapy and Pilates was established in 2011 when Kylie Rankin and Jackie Saunders amalgamated their individual practices. Pivotal Physiotherapy & Pilates is located in Archer Street opposite North Adelaide Village. This is a convenient location for parking, coffee and is in close proximity to many specialists in the North Adelaide area.

ackie Saunders graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at The University of South Australia in 2004. After graduating Jackie worked in the hospital setting for 2 years where she gained valuable experience in Rehabilitation and Women’s Health.
Since 2006 Jackie has worked in Private Practice predominantly in the area of Women’s Health, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Pilates Rehabilitation. She is also experienced in treating a variety Sporting Injuries having travelled with State Netball Teams as their Physiotherapist and working closely with a number of sporting clubs.
Specialising in Women’s Health Jackie works closely with a number of GPs, Obstetricians and Gynaecologists treating Women during Antenatal and Postnatal periods, and also assists in the treatment of women with Incontinence, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Pre and Post Gynaecological Surgery, Pelvic Pain and a range of other Women’s Health issues. Jackie has Advanced Certificates in Dry Needling, and trained in Pilates in 2005. She has furthered her Pilates education working closely with Polestar Pilates Practitioners developing a comprehensive knowledge of Pilates Principles and applications for rehabilitation of a range of Musculoskeletal and Women’s Health issues.
ylie Rankin graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2000 at The University of South Australia. For the past 14 years Kylie has been a Musculoskeletal, Manual Physiotherapist working in Private Practice. Kylie specialises in Pilates Rehabilitation and is also a Women’s Health Physiotherapist. She works closely with a number of GPs, Gynaecologists and Obstetricians to aid in treatment of Women during Antenatal and Postnatal periods in addition to assisting to treat Incontinence, Pelvic Organ Prolapse and a wide range of Women’s Health issues. Kylie started her training in Pilates eleven years ago through Dance Medicine Australia and has furthered her expertise through Polestar Pilates becoming a mentor for their training program. Kylie has completed training in clinical rehabilitation through DMA and the APMA and has her Diploma in Pilates through Polestar Pilates International. Kylie has a special interest in Core Stability, Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation and functional correction of movement dysfunction through using the Pilates Method.
